Club Collega regional – worldwide: Magog, Québec

From 22 October to 22 November 2026, the Magog, Québec regional group will present an exhibition of contemporary collage at two venues in Magog as part of Club Collega regional – worldwide: the Memphrémagog Public Library and the Café Géogène Magog.

The exhibition brings together around 30 works by artists from the Estrie region, highlighting the diversity of the local collage scene. The two exhibition venues offer different spaces for presenting the works.

Opening: October 22, 2026, online with the international regional groups and on-site in Magog

Exhibiting artists:

Around 30 artists initially signed up for the exhibition, and the group has now grown to approximately 34 participants. Each artist can submit up to three collages.

A special requirement connects the different works: each collage must incorporate at least one hand-printed element, for example from a collagraph, monotype, etching, or another printmaking technique. This brings together the free and diverse practice of collage with different forms of artistic printmaking.

The exhibition is organized by the local group D’Encre et de papier and showcases the diversity of collage practices within the region. By presenting the works at two different venues in Magog, the exhibition also creates a connection between art, public space, and local meeting places.

More about the preparations can be found on Guylaine Couture’s blog.

Exhibition dates: October 22 – November 22, 2026

Exhibition venues:

Memphrémagog Public Library: 90 Rue Saint-David · Magog, Quebec J1X 0H9 · Canada

Café Géogène Magog: 290 Rue Principale Ouest · Magog, Quebec J1X 2A9 · Canada

With its exhibition, Magog becomes part of a worldwide network of collage artists and regional groups. Club Collega regional – worldwide brings together diverse artistic perspectives and highlights how many local exhibitions come together to form a shared international project.

Club Collega is an initiative of Museum Haus des Papiers (Berlin). The museum develops the joint project framework, facilitates international networking, and provides communication materials, a website, and infrastructure. The organization of the exhibitions is the sole responsibility of the respective regional groups.
